Stressed

Was listening to the radio on the way to work and they were talking on the topic of stress. They were saying that being an compulsive spender is a symptom that one is under heavy stress.

I'm a compulsive spender. I buy shit I don't need. I buy stuff without thinking.

Well, now all the mystery on my spending habits are answered.

I'm stressed.

I'm one troubled kid.

Sad.

New Sport in Town

I guess I have another new activity to add to my daily life. Another lame attempt to make my life more meaningful or happening. Another reason to waste more money on something. The latest addition to my life:

Baseball.

Alright, lemme rephrase, coz it isn't really baseball that I'm doing. What I was actually doing would be attempting to whack a moving ball with a baseball bat within an enclosed cage. The idea of it would be similar to a driving range for golf where the only difference would be the equiptment involved. But the general idea would be the same - to whack some balls~!

So far, I've been going there with the intentions of working out. But more importantly, its the fun factor that kept me going back for more. The satisfaction I get from getting a clean hit of the ball is almost orgasmic. The smell of burnt rubber, an effect of the ball grazing against the fast moving bat, was just heavenly. The blisters on the hands after the game adds a couple of points to my manliness. The strain of muscles and joints reminds me that I'm leaving a healthy lifestyle.

Enough of the bullshit. The straight truth would be that at every swing, be it hit or miss, I'm rid of some frustration, tension and stress from within me. Yeah, I'm one hell of a angry, frustrated and depressed kid. Grrr....

Anyway, check it out at Hit.com.

Dark Waters

Another 2 weeks before I gotta move out of the hostel and I really can't wait. The hostel now seems to be self destructing as a farewell sign to me. Yea, me. My other housemates somehow rather travel daily from PJ or Sentul.

I just came back from my break and I was greeted by a suprise when I entered the hostel. The lights were off and I was greeted by total darkness. I took my first step in and I stepped on a pile of water. I froze for a moment there. Blinded by the darkness, my hearing was my primary sense at that time. The only sound I could hear was the sound of water dripping and trickling down the stairs. Man, it just sent the shivers down my spine.

Somehow, I managed to switch on the lights and found the whole floor flooded with water. Water seemed to be dripping from the ceiling and it was a total mess.

I can't wait to move out.

Went to work and the next morning, I went back to hostel hoping to get a good rest. I placed my hand on the entrance door knob and this time, I was greeted by the sounds of gushing water. Wtf man. This time, it was no longer dripping. It was a fucking waterfall beating down the staircase.

Couldn't sleep. It felt like I was in a fucking rainforest.

I really can't wait to move out.

Spent my day at the cyber cafe and I'm now dying from insufficient sleep. Went back to hostel for a while to get a change of clothes and this time, the ceiling where the water poured from, had crashed down the stairs, and there was no power.

I'm fucking moving out tomorrow.

Wishlist 2006

By burning another hole on my wallet, I managed to complete my wish list for year 2006.

psp
my new baby

tekken
Tekken 5 Dark Resurection - The game which finalized my decision.

LocoRoco
Loco Roco - the game which seconded my decision. One of the most adorable and fun games I've ever played.

I am completed. I am contented. I am happy. I am broke.

I'm Back~!

I'm starting to enjoy working shift even more now. After swapping off days internally, I ended up with 7 days off. The good news is I get 7 days off. The bad news is I gotta slave my ass off for the remaining days of the month.

Seven blissful days of doing nothing. No computer, no TV. There was no temptations to touch them at all. Spent my days sleeping, reading and eating. It was blissful. I am totally recharged.

I am ready for life again.

I am back!

Lets see how long I can stay with this attitude before I am overwhelmed by depression, loneliness, boredom and anxiety.
