I suck at games

I just realized that I have stopped blogging and checking blogs for two weeks or more. Checked the comments and found out that some of my fans had still been checking consistently. Would like to sincerely apologise to them. Muahaha. Gotten a bit full of myself lately.

Anyway, no prize for guessing what I have been doing lately. Even spent my weekends back at hostel quietly without a complain. Basically thrashed my whole room with dirty clothes, computer boxes, DVDs, magazines and almost everything I could get my hand on. Didnt expect a console to mess up my life. I would hide under my comforter while bashing on the gamepad for hours and I am starting to lack sleep and all.

Sounds like Im having fun? Not really. Read on.

Had been jumping from game to game instead of focusing on one game. Currently playing God Of War, Final Fantasy X-2, Grand Turismo 4, Devil Kings, and Soul Calibre 3.

God of War

A pretty good game I would say. Very stylish fighting, lots of action and upgrading of character throughout the game. Not much complains on this game as it was quite simple. The only thing was I died like one hour straight at the same place while trying to jump from pillar to pillar. Almost gave up when I learnt the double jump. Sigh~! By that time, I ve already died so many times and made the mighty Kratos (the character I was using) look like a pussy and I needed a change of game play.

Final Fantasy X-2

After making Kratos look like a pussy, it was time for pussy game where FFX-2 comes to the picture where you play 3 pussies. It felt like I was playing FFX again where I travel the same maps and meet the same people. Bad enough I pretty hated FFX and now they are trying to make it up by using some CG babes. This version of FF uses the worst gaming system in the history of Final Fantasy. There is no limit breaks, no GFs and only 3 characters. Playing a dressing up game with those 3 gals wasnt too fun as they become repetitive, irritating and annoying. Besides that, those bitches keep getting raped by normal creeps. First time Im dying so often in a Final Fantasy series.

Grand Turismo 4

This was the worst. Its either my driving skills really suck or I am only meant to ride a bike. Had been trying for days to pass the first license test where you are supposed to accelerate and brake on time. Sounds simple, yea, I still havent passed it. And during the arcade version, I am getting overlapped by AIs. Aih.

Devil Kings

Just bought the game recently when I was standing outside a game shop that had that game on display. From the creators of Devil May Cry and ...something, I forgot what, it seemed to be quite a nice game. One man army cutting through thousands of soldiers like Japanese Tofu. There's 6 characters to choose from and everyone of them had their own gaya moves. However, I managed to try all 6 of them coz whenever you die, you have to start from the beginning again, and I kept dying at the end of the level. Maybe I should try playing easy instead of normal.

Soul Calibre 3

Got attracted to this game after thrashing Marve at the arcade. This game offers nice attacking moves and blood chilling combos. Much nicer combos than KOF I will say. Too bad the combos are executed by the AI on myself. This system implements the button tapping moves like Tekken instead of the KOF control style. Always get stuck at some level of the story mode and kept dying for hours. Nobody likes losing and it was really demoralising and depressing.

Alright. Thats the game reviews for the games Im currently busy with lately. It is no longer fun. Sniff. Maybe I should start playing those Mahjong or card games where the gal strips after I win.
