Diet Day #8

A Sunday. The seventh day of the week and a rest day as declared by God. Therefore, a rest day it shall be.

Woke up early for squash today only to find that all the courts were fully booked till later in the evening. Splendid. I’m just not meant to sweat out. Too bad the alternative plan wasn’t a really healthy one. Dimsum, dimsum and more dimsum. Thank God it’s my rest day. My first solid breakfast in a week. Noticed the reduction of intake and that’s a good sign.

Tried out the bass guitar at Marve’s place after that. The joke of starting a band came up a couple of weeks back, but after a few more gatherings, the topic was still on, so maybe we’d give it a shot after all. Guess we need new activities to spark up our consistently boring and meaningless life. So, we’d have our vocalist, Lobak; Marvin our lead guitarist and I’ll be trying out the bassist role. I know nuts about music and I’m tone deaf. This is gonna be one hell of a fucked up band. Anyway, we still have vacancy for drummer. Anymore losers out there who might be interested?

Then, time for the main agenda of the day. Met up with Tracy, Luke and Lobak at Shogun to satisfy all the cravings and lust that have been torturing me over the week. It is time to put an end to that torment. Food never tasted better. Had lots of healthy bean curd and a couple of other stuff. I am still on diet after all. With this, I hope the cravings will leave me alone for at least a month.

A day well spent.
