My long weekday...

For the whole week, after work, i had been pretty occupied and reaching home very late at night.

Tuesday...a close friend from Kluang came up and they called me out to go 'yum-cha'(drink tea which literally means hang out at a coffee shop). At that time, it was already 10pm and I was ready to hit the sack. Anyhow, I got ready and they came over to fetch me. Went all the way to Cheras to meet up with the others. A place called Station 1, the most happening hangout place in town, according to them. The place was packed with people, pretty waitress walking around, and a live band performing songs to dedications. The atmosphere was pretty lively yet allowing place for personal meetings. Quite a nice place to hang out I would say. Just that this place is a higher class place. Was expecting them to go to some road-side mamak. Chatted, bullshitted and laughed till 2am in the morning. Damn. Went to work the next day like a zombie.

Wednesday...my boss treated us for dinner at Wong Kok ( or whatever you call it). It was pretty similar to Kim Gary. The food was kinda nice and we spent sometime there chatting. I had to excuse myself early as I had to rush back to meet my Kluang friends. We were going to Karaoke. Those jerks did not believe me when I told them that it would cost fifty bucks if they go at night. All of them started cursing when they saw the bill. But we had fun. Sang to our heart's content and screamed to our throat's agony. It was a different feeling from my previous karaoke encounters. Different style, different selection of songs and different kind of fun. I guess it is different when it comes to different gangs. Finished singing at 3am. The rest of the gang carried on to watch the Champion Leagues final (Liverpool v AC Milan which Liverpool won) but I passed on that. Reached home exhausted and I had a few hours of sleep. Went to work like a mummy.

Thursday...Eve called me saying that she had tickets for the premier of Madagascar. Met her at Times Square, had dinner at Kenny Rogers', and headed for the primier. Deposited our handphones and cameras at the counter proceeded for further checking. Something like the airport thing where they scan for metal i think. Then they even checked the begs and all. When they checked my beg, I found out to my disgust that my hair gel had its cap off and three-quarter of the gel was all over my stuff. Was pretty disgusting. It was free seatings for the show and we got seats at the last row. Saw some seats at the middle row and politely asked the aunty there if it was taken. She could have just said no politely but she said "How can it be that such nice seats are not taken?". I was about to say something when Eve just pulled me to the back. I mean, this kinda people, really have a lot of saliva. Anyway, back to the show, it sucked big time. Hated it. Im still cursing it eventhought the tickets were free. Reached home about midnight today. Overslept. Went to work late but refreshed.

Friday...which is today...after work, will be having another karaoke session with the colleagues. Planning to leave earlier to join my other gang for basketball. Need to get my heart pumping faster a bit. Feeling unfit lately.

My Long weekend

It had been quite a busy and interesting weekend for me. It had been a while since I was this occupied. Okay, let’s see, where should I start…

Let’s start a little way back…say the 20th of May.

It was a Friday night and I reached home late tired from work. I was resting on my bed when Laurent, my housemate walked to the hall ( yea, I sleep in the hall due to my pretty hot room).

“Come, let’s go for a drink!”

“Tired lar. I have to work tomorrow!”

“Sob, sob. Nobody remembers my birthday.”

We did not go out for a drink that night.

=======================================

The next morning, I started planning to give Laurent a reluctant surprise party. Got some of the gang online in a conference and we discussed on how to give him a surprise. But then, they were more interested in shopping and lunch and dinner but not Laurent. LOL.

Anyhow, we gathered at Sungai Wang and we did the surprise which wasn’t really surprising. Just a cake which read “Happy Birthday Dude.” Told you it was a reluctant surprise party. Anyway, this was the first time we managed to gather all of the gang( Ng from Shah Alam, NEO WHO ESPECIALLY CAME DOWN FROM PENANG (APPLAUSE, CHEER), Meiseen from Ampang, Evelyn from PJ and Laurent from Puchong) since the last gathering and it was fun. Our conversation this time was more focused towards work where we shared all the funny and interesting things we encountered at work. But we did not leave out the crapping which is forever in our conversation. After that, we went our own directions. Laurent and his gal went somewhere, the guys went to Low Yat and the gals went shopping.

So much for our big gathering.

=======================================

Soon, everyone went back and only Eve, Wing Hon and I were left there. We were planning to go for Cyndi Wang Xin Ling’s mini concert. Oh yea! Finally I get to attend a concert of “someone” famous.

When we got there, the whole place was bursting with people. And to think that we joked that there might be nobody. Did not know she was that famous. I hate places which are flooded with people. The place was so hot and humid where everyone were cramped together. Sweated like a pig and felt kind of uncomfortable. But heck, I was already there, so I might as well make it worthwhile.

Cyndi came late. I was saying out loud that she had a diarrhea and at that instant I could feel that many eyes were looking at me and Wing Hon and Eve pretended to be strangers. So much for friend’s support. She came soon later and started singing a few songs. Everyone were like so wild and kept on cheering. So I decided to join. I gave out a hair raising howl and I noticed that no one at my area were cheering. Eve and Wing Hon once again became strangers. The guy in front of me turned and gave me a you-howl-one-more-time-and-i-will-kill-you look. I kept howling. Eve and Wing Hon now went deeper into the crowd.

=======================================

Later on, I sent Eve home and went to fetch Wing Hon at the station. He was going to put up at my place coz we decided to attend a Magic The Gathering: Saviors of Kamigawa sealed deck tournament the next morning. It’s been like some time since we last played, so we had a crash course till early in the morning.

Had a few hours of sleep and off we went to the tournament.

We were given one tournament pack and 3 booster packs to begin with. From there, we had to register all the cards and construct the deck in half an hour. I was taking my own sweet time and soon found out that there was no more time. Panic. Started throwing in cards just to complete the deck and the tournament started. With such a unplanned deck, obviously I lost the first 2 games badly. Then I tuned the deck a bit and improved for a draw and a win for the remaining two games. Was a pretty new experience and it was kinda interesting for me.

Won posters and booster packs and now our Magic cards increased by the hundreds.

=======================================

My dad came down for the weekend to send my brother off to college. Starting this Tuesday at the Tunku Abdul Rahman College.

Had a lot of good food and shopped for some stuff. Got some blinds, mattress and fan to add to the room. Fixed the railings for the curtains and hanged up the curtains. However, the room is still hot as ever.

Was planning to move to the room soon, but still considering as the room is a furnace.

=======================================

Guess that's all bout my weekend. The problems with long weekends, it takes me a pretty long time to write it in office. Guess I should be getting back to work now.

My working life...

The moment i started work, my life began to change drastically.

Changed as in it seems like bad luck is always there for me. The moment I started working, the weather started to change from a bright sunny day to a stormy and rainy day, my tyres keep puncturing (yea...yesterday again, seriously feel like ripping my bike off), I met up with about 6 police blocks so far ( where I was stopped 4 times but I was clean) and by puncturing so many freaking times, it burnt a hole in my already tight budget.

Maybe I must go 'mandi bunga' or something to get ride of this bad luck. Or is it bad luck?

Sigh...

Shrimp eggs

Was looking at the tank this morning when I noticed that one of the shrimps had eggs on its body. I guess they really do breed when there are no fishes around. Went for my bath and when I came back, all the eggs had fallen onto a driftwood. Okay...that is something new to me. All the while I was thinking that the fry would hatch in the body and released as baby shrimps like the guppy.

Looking forward to a tank full of shrimps.

And I just found out that shrimps eat tomatoes.

Freaks

The human mind is a complex thing. Perhaps too complex to understand.

This morning, some asshole kept honking for about 30 minutes straight. Got me all irritated and pissed. So went to the window to check the situation out. Turned out that an even bigger asshole parked his car behind his car blocking his entrance. He was driving some Benz but then his ignorance, stupidity or what ever defect you call it was unbelievable. No common sense nor cow sense.

My Shrimp tank

From what i remember, all my previous aquariums failed miserably. The semangat (spirit) either dies out after a while and the aquarium will be abandoned to destruction or if my semangat super high, it will be hit by a plague of disease. All my rummy noses and angel fishes died a horrible death from diseases. My lobsters....poor creatures....chop sticked to death by lobak. And not forgetting that I almost broke my back while transporting the freaking aquarium while shifting. Sigh, why do i go through all this trouble.

However, from all this bad experiences, I still can't stop getting into this hobby. So, I stopped by a fish shop last night and got a bunch of tiger shrimps. Started my shrimp tank again. Fixed the aquarium with Java moses the other day and took out all the fishes. Hope to create a good environment for them to breed.

Well...at the moment the semangat is high but I wonder how long I will last.
Will post up a pic of it when I get lights for it.

The white kancil...

Last night, I had the worst dream ever. I dreamt that I was in office working. Then I woke up. Crap! The dream felt so real. Moreover, I OTed quite late last night. And now I have to go to work. Seems like I never had any sleep at all. Sigh. Anyway, off to work.

I reached Cheras Business Centre. And I was just about to reach my office when this bloody white Kancil suddenly turned in without signaling. Did an emergency brake and stopped about an inch from the car. The aunty came down and looked at me. Did not even apologize. I gave her a bloodshot eye look. She just kept quiet. I was about to say something when I noticed that it was in front of Meiseen’s Panasonic shop. Thinking that it might be MS’s aunt, I just let it off. So, Meiseen! Verify it! Any of your aunt drive a small white Kancil?

If its not, I’m gonna steal the chair which she uses to reserve her parking. Verify it ASAP.

Thinking back, nothing good has happened to me since I started working. Maybe I really am gonna get screwed by my male boss.

Rainy days and me

I used to love raining days. But last night it rained till 8pm which means that I stayed in office till that time. The rain made me feel exploited as I cannot claim OT. Anyhow, a load a work came in and I was slowly working on it. Producing some pretty lousy work. Now it seems like I’m just waiting to get screwed by my boss who is a man.

Had steamboat buffet for dinner in Sunway. Not too bad. Love the feeling of eating steamboat on a rainy night. But I always have the feeling of regret after buffets. Always eat till I feel like bursting.

I still love rainy days.

Really a bad day

Continuation from the previous blog…

Just after work, we were heading home when the tire started rattling, shaking, being unstable, you get my point. Taking the precautions, I stopped by a mechanic shop to have it fixed. Ended up, the mechanic told me that the tube inside was a smaller version which couldn’t fit the tire. Deep down in my heart, my angel and devil spoke to me. My angel said that the man was old and was trying to make a day’s living and he didn’t mean any harm. My devil said “Screw him!”

So basically, I spent damn a lot just on changing tubes. Could actually get a new tire instead of a tube. Well….shit happens. But this is happening too often. Maybe coz I eat a lot. So I shit a lot. And a lot of shit happens.

Nothing new...

Well, there is nothing new or amazing about this blog. Probably had already published the same old story for countless times. But heck.

Somehow today, I was really early. Managed to beat the traffic, picked up my colleague and we were still way earlier than the usual time. And the sun was up today. It havent been like this for a while. Normally it will be cloudy with signs of rain. But today it was shiny and hot day.

Wat a perfect day, I thought to myself. Then my ride suddenly became bumpy at the back. And from my countless experience, I could tell from the first bump i felt. Another f**king puncture. Spoilt my "perfect" day. No wonder i prefer rainy days to sunny days.

Me and my bike Posted by Hello

I was wondering what options I had on a highway. The next row of motorbike service shops were quite a distance away. At the moment, the only option was to push the bike to those shops. After pushing for a while, it crossed my mind to leave the bike there for a while and take a cab to work. Then I remembered the bike that was left there for a while now. It was a full bike the first day i saw it. A puncture perhaps? And the next day, only its skeleton was left. So hell no!

The stripped bike Posted by Hello

I then decided to call my housemate for help. While waiting, I slowly pushed the bike to the shops. Pushed and pushed and pushed and we finally reached the bottom of the flyover. Laurent havent reached and the repair shops were on the other side of the road where it was quite impossible to get across (unless I run across a rail road). So, we didnt have a choice but to wait for Laurent, my housemate.

Suddenly, out of no where, this guy came on his bike with tyres hanging on both sides of his steering and has plastics filled with stuff. He said that he was fixing bikes and being late for work, he had to do. Soon enough, Laurent arrived and he couldnt get a mechanic to come over. Almost got into some accident while trying to cut in to the curb. My sincere apologies to him and my many thanks. So the guy fixed my bike, charged a high price (expected) and we departed off to work. Reached work at 11am. Work started at 9. Luckily the boss, didnt come over to my department. Still considering to OT or not later.

My office...

The other day, was chatting with a friend bout my work place. I described the alley at my work place as eerie and a suitable place for staging a rape scene. On the first day of my interview, the place gave me the creeps and I had doubts if that was my company's door. There isnt even a company sign board. Enough with the description ler. I guess a picture of it will be able to give you a clear picture of it.

The Hot Exhaust Pipe

It was just the same normal same routine where i wake up at 8, have a bath and then head over to fetch my colleague in Sunway to work. Same old route through the NPE to Cheras Business Centre. Nothing new.

Just when we reached our work place and got off the bike. Something disgusting caught my eye. Some splat of dog-shit-looking kinda stuff was on exhaust pipe. I shouted out in disgust and was trying to figure out what the hell that was. My colleague too didnt have any idea what the hell it was. Then it struck me.

"Show me your shoe!"

And as i guessed, it was the rubber melted off from his shoe. One whole big patch of his shoe was gone. It almost ate into the sole. Luckily it didnt burn his feet. And to my suprise, he didnt have the slightest clue that the exhaust pipe was hot. Haha now he knows.

This is a public message announcement:

" The exhaust pipe is a pretty hot stuff. Do not mess around with it. "

And this is also dedicated to my ex housemate, Teck Meng, who tried cooking is leg on my exhaust pipe.

My first day of work

My first day at work...how shall i start....okay...lets start with the journey to work...

The moment i stepped out of the house, I was greeted by dark clouds with thunders roaring and lightning flashing. Perfect, i thought. Went back in, got my raincoat and started off. It started drizzling and soon enough it started raining cats and dogs. All this while i was burning at home in the hot weather and it had to rain today. It havent been raining like this for dunno how long. And it flooded somewhere along the way. Water was about 3 inches high. Damn! All the cars seem to be having fun when they splashed all the water at me while passing by. I was perfectly dry in front while I was soaked to my underwear on my back part. Sigh! Reached a shelter. Being perfectly aware that the rain got to my back, I decided to wear my raincoat properly ( all the while i was only wearing it in front). Had problem buttoning the freaking raincoat thanks to my bulging belly. Departed off again and it didnt take long for my small brain to notice that all my front is getting wet now. Perfect. That will make things more even. Stopped and flipped the raincoat again. A part of me was telling me to be gone with the raincoat. Anyway, the journey continued and I missed the turning that I was supposed to take. Muahahhahaha, i started laughing to myself. So I went wandering in the rain searching for the way to my workplace. The rain stopped not long after and i managed to reach my office. My clothes are now dry and i was half an hour early. The office was still locked and I had to wait till 9. Damn it.

And i was given no job for the entire day. Suffered from severe boredom.

The New Beginning

The last time i was actively blogging was during my industrial training. After being MIA for almost a year, now's the time to start again where there is the thrill and excitement writing the blog during work without getting caught by the boss. Hmmm...maybe that is why many working people are blogging. It s like we are given an office to blog under the nice air conditioning besides getting paid.

Alright, no one likes a long intro so it's gonna stop here.
Stay tuned to my blog.
Ciao.
