Foreign fishes

Came across this post at Boingboing.net and it just felt funny. That fish with human like teeth aka pacu is a pretty common fish over here. Quite a game fish where those ugly teeth can bite through hooks and line. Over here, people catch them so often and that we get sick of it while over there in Texas, there seem to be a big hoo-haa.

But I guess it was the same situation when we caught a bass over here. Old post where someone caught a Peacock Bass.

Sometimes I do wonder how did these foreign fishes get into our local waters.
